Do you only work with Wix websites?

Yes, I focus exclusively on Wix because it allows me to build professional, user-friendly websites that clients can manage themselves — no coding required. I have some experience with most other platforms but I find Wix is the best balance of usability, design capabilities, affordability and low maintenance for my clients.

Do you offer support after the site is finished?

Absolutely. I have a variety of maintenance packages or pay-as-you-go help for edits, questions, or future changes at a rate of $100/hour. My goal is to be your long-term website partner.  I also offer training to those who are interested in managing their websites themselves.

Do you work with clients outside of the Ottawa Valley?

Yes! While I’m based in Perth, I work remotely with clients across Ontario and Canada. If you're searching for a web designer near me and you're local, we can meet in person — but Zoom works too!

How long does a website take to build?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the scope, a new website typically takes 2–4 weeks. I’ll give you a timeline based on your needs and content readiness. For those in a rush, I can prioritize your project as much as possible and aim to meet your deadlines. I'm generally quite flexible!

Can I hire you for website updates or help with small tasks?

Yes! I offer affordable website maintenance and am happy to take care of updates, content changes, product uploads, and technical fixes — even if I didn’t build your Wix site. If you're looking to have your site redesigned, I can help with that too. Learn more about my redesign work here.

What if I already have a Wix website but need help fixing it?

I do a lot of redesign and Wix cleanup and redesign projects. Whether it’s layout issues, mobile optimization, SEO, or organizing your content — I can help you get it looking and working the way you want. Many of my clients have attempted to design their own sites, only to find that it's more complicated than they expected. That's okay! While it is sometimes possible to make something yourself that looks good, there's a lot that goes into the back end of a website to ensure it is mobile friendly, offers good user experience and importantly, SEO friendly so that it can be found online.
I can help turn your DIY project into something professional and functional that you'll be proud to share.

Can you help with SEO or getting found on Google?

Yes! I incorporate basic SEO best practices into every site I build, and I can help with local SEO strategies like optimizing or creating your Google Business Profile, using a keyword strategy throughout your website and creating SEO-friendly blog content.

Do you offer branding or logo design?

While I don’t offer full branding packages (I am not technically a graphic designer), I can help with simple visuals — like choosing colours, fonts, and layouts that match your brand. I also often create simple logos using Canva for people who don't have anything to work with. If you need a full logo or branding suite, I have some amazing graphic designers I can refer you to.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Yes! All of my websites are fully responsive, meaning they look and function great on phones, tablets, and desktops. Mobile optimization is a key part of every project I take on.

Can I edit the website myself after it's done?

Absolutely. One of the biggest benefits of Wix is that you can make changes easily without a lot of technical knowledge. I also offer optional walkthroughs or recorded tutorials to help you feel confident updating your site.

Do you help with domain names, email setup, or connecting my old website?

Yes, I handle all the technical setup, including buying or transferring domains, hosting, security, email integration (like Google Workspace), and simplifying your online set up.
