Website Design Process
You and your business are unique. That's why I approach each project with a tailored strategy to meet your specific needs. My process involves a careful examination of your goals, audience, and brand identity. I'll listen to your ideas, ask questions, and collaborate with you to create a design that not only looks beautiful but also achieves your business objectives.
Consultation
We'll discuss your vision for your website, reviewing the content on your current website if you have one and collecting any images you would like to integrate into the design. I'll also collect any brand guides, logos or colour and font preferences.
Initial Design
Once we are all on the same page and I've collected all the content needed, I'll get to work creating a draft of your website based on our discussion. This process takes 1-2 weeks.
Review
After I have completed a draft, I'll share it with you for your review. I’ll use your feedback to tailor the design until you are completely satisfied. With the desktop site designed, I'll get to work tailoring your mobile site to ensure it is optimized and responsive on various screen sizes.
Launch
Once the site is completed, I’ll set up your Wix Premium account, access your domain and launch your website! The price of your Wix Premium will be $15-28/month depending on your needs, paid annually. This includes hosting, security, a free domain (if you need one), the use of the Wix platform, as well as a wide range of business tools including email marketing, invoice software, analytics etc.
Search Engine Optimization
After launch, I’ll complete your site SEO by doing keyword research, crafting effective meta descriptions and title tags, and connecting your site to Google.
Training
After launch, we’ll sit down for a Zoom training session so that you can learn how to make changes and additions to your new website. If you’re not interested in maintaining the site yourself, I offer affordable ongoing website maintenance starting at $45/month.
