Website Design Services Agreement

SCOPE OF WORK

The Designer agrees to provide web design services as agreed upon in the project proposal provided to the Client. Any additional work outside the scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional fees.

TIMELINE

​

The project is expected to be completed within 6 weeks. Both parties agree to work collaboratively to meet this deadline. Any delays in the project timeline caused by the Client may result in additional fees.

 

PAYMENT TERMS

​

Client agrees to pay The Designer the total project fee as outlined in the project proposal, with the following payment schedule:

• 50% due upon signing this Agreement

• 50% due upon completion and delivery of the final website

​

GHOSTING CLAUSE

If there is no progress on the project for a continuous period of 30 days due to the Client's inaction, lack of communication, or failure to provide necessary materials, the final invoice will be issued and considered due immediately.

 

OWNERSHIP AND USAGE RIGHTS

​

Upon full payment, the Client shall own the final website design, including all intellectual property rights. Designer retains the right to showcase the project in their portfolio.

​

TERMINATION

​

Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of this Agreement. Upon termination, Client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

​

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information obtained during the course of this project.

​

MISCELLANEOUS

​

Any modifications to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements.
